Voting is open and will run through midnight Saturday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for January 29-February 3:

Kaden Blades, Benton: The sophomore went 3-0 with 3 falls to win the 132 pound weight class at the Herrin 1A Wrestling Regional.

Kyle Cooper, Waltonville: The sophomore averaged 21.7 points, 7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.7 steals helping the Spartans go 2-1 for the week.

Bryce Edwards, Murphysboro: The junior went 3-0 with 3 falls to win the 144 pound weight class at the Herrin 1A Wrestling Regional.

Drew Holshouser, Anna-Jonesboro: The senior went 3-0 with 3 falls to win the 175 pound weight class as the Herrin 1A Wrestling Regional.

Thomas Imboden, Carbondale: The junior went 3-0 with 2 falls and a major decision to win the 165 pound weight class as the Marion 2A Wrestling Regional.

Sidnee Nelson, Herrin: The sophomore won the individual title at the Carbondale Girls Bowling Regional knocking down 1216 pins. Herrin won the team the title as well.

Rayci Phelps, Hamilton Co.: The sophomore averaged 18 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals over 4 games helping the Lady Foxes go 2-2 for the week.

JaLea Shered, Centralia: The senior averaged 19.7 points over 3 games helping the Annies go 3-0 for the week. Shered scored 27 and surpassed 1000 for her career in a win over Mt. Vernon to snap the Lady Rams’ 34-game South Seven winning streak.

Layne Tucker, Fairfield: The senior averaged 18.7 points over 3 games helping the Mules go 3-0 for the week.
