Voting is open and will run through midnight Sunday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for April 15-20:

Drake Buffington, Goreville: The junior was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs in a win over Trico.

Ethan Golish, Harrisburg: The senior was 11-19 at the plate with 3 doubles, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs, 9 runs scored, and 3 stolen bases. He was 1-0 on the mound with a complete game 4-hitter, striking out 11.

AJ Kinsman, Benton: The junior won the shot put at the Bob Karnes Relays, breaking a 74-year old school record with a throw of 59’6”.

Luke Maurer, Massac Co.: The senior was 7-15 and was on base 10 times with 3 doubles, a home run, 5 RBIs, and 4 runs scored. He was 1-0 on the mound, allowing 3 runs and striking out 5 in a complete game.

Jayci Needling, Anna-Jonesboro: The sophomore was 13-23 with 3 doubles, a home run, 13 RBIs, and 10 runs scored helping the Lady Wildcats go 5-0 for the week.

Sara Schurz, Carbondale: The freshman had 5 goals and 3 assists helping the Terriers go 2-0 for the week.

Breanna Thurman, Salem: The junior was 8-13 at the plate with 2 doubles, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. She was 1-0 in 2 appearances in the circle, striking out 15 in 11 innings pitched.

Olivia Tipton, Waltonville/Sesser-Valier: The senior was 5-10 at the plate and was on base 14 times with 9 walks, a double, a home run, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. In the circle, she was 3-1 with 34 strikeouts in 22 innings.

Audrey Upton, Carmi-White Co.: The senior was 6-14 at the plate with a double, a triple, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 4 runs scored. In the circle, she was 4-0, allowing 4 earned runs on 14 hits in 31 innings while striking out 49.
