Voting is open and will run through midnight Sunday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for April 22-27:

Brandon Dutton, Hardin Co.: The sophomore was 5-7 with a double, home run, and 4 RBIs at the plate, and pitched a complete game, 2-hit shut out, striking out 10 helping the Cougars go 3-0 on the week and clinch their 4th straight GEC title.

Marcus Leitzen, Johnston City: The freshman was 2-3 with 3 RBIs in a win over Pinckneyville and was 3-5 with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs in a win over Flora.

Dedrick Melvin, Du Quoin: The junior threw a no-hitter while striking out 16 in a win over Waltonville/Sesser-Valier.

Mylee Roberts, Elverado: The freshman was 5-11 with 4 doubles and a home run with 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored helping the Lady Falcons go 3-1 for the week.

Jayda Shepard, Anna-Jonesboro: The sophomore was 6-8 with a home run, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored to help the Lady Wildcats go 3-0 for the week.

Danicah Tobin, Mt. Vernon: The sophomore was 5-8 with 2 doubles, a home run, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored at the plate along with going 1-0 in the circle helping the Lady Rams finish 3-1 for the week.

Emmy Vinson, Vienna: The senior was 7-12 with 5 doubles, a home run, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored at the plate and was 1-2 with 17 strikeouts in 20.1 innings in the circle helping the Lady Eagles go 2-2 for the week.

Sofia Wallace, Marion: The senior goalkeeper had back to back shutouts against Centralia and Carterville/Herrin in her first games back after missing 6 months due to knee surgery.
