Lilli Armes, Johnston City: The junior was 8-16 plus 4 walks with 3 doubles, a home run, 8 RBIs, and a run scored helping the Lady Indians to a 4-1 week.
Emma Behrmann, Nashville: The junior set new school records in the triple jump (36’10”) and the 100 meter hurdles (15.91) at the Nashville Invitational.
Suhmer Daubert, Vienna/Goreville: The senior scored 3 goals in a win over Du Quoin, netting the first hat trick in program history.
Hannah Halsted, Pinckneyville: The senior scored 5 goals and added an assist to help the Lady Panthers go 2-0 for the week. Halsted scored 4 of those goals in a win over Massac County.
Alex Kiefer, Mt. Vernon: The senior was 6-7 plus 3 walks with 2 doubles, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs, 6 runs scored, and 3 stolen bases helping the Rams go 3-0 for the week.
Kailyn Kahl, Galatia/Thompsonville: The junior threw a 5-inning, 4-hit shutout striking out 12 and was 2-3 with a grand slam, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a win over Shawnee.
Brendan Malley, Chester: The senior was 1-0 on the mound, allowing 1 unearned run on 3 hits while striking out 16 in a win over Carlyle. Malley was 2-8 with 2 RBIs and stolen base for the week at the plate.
Landyn Mitchell, Christ Our Rock Lutheran: The junior won 4 events at Breese Central’s Tri-County Invitational–the 110 meter hurdles (17.06), the 300 meter hurdles (42.05), the long jump (22’7”), and the triple jump (43’7.25”). Those are new personal bests for Mitchell in the long and triple jumps.
Tucker Nalley, Pope Co.: The junior 1-0 on the mound with a 1-hit shutout, striking out 14 in a win over NCOE. Nalley was also 2-4 with an RBI and a run in that game. For the week at the plate, he was 3-10 with an RBI and a run.
Adri Ortega, Crab Orchard: The freshman threw a 1-hit shutout striking out 10 in a win over Goreville. For the week in the circle, Ortega allowed 1 unearned run on 3 hits over 8 innings while striking out 12. At the plate she was 6-14 with a double and 4 runs scored.
Brandon Plott, Century: The senior was 3-3 with a walk, hit by pitch, a triple, 3 RBIs, and 4 runs scored in the Centurions’ win over Agape Christian.
Ariana Turner, Anna-Jonesboro: The senior was 9-11 with a double, 5 home runs, 11 RBIs, and 5 runs scored helping the Lady Wildcats go 3-0 for the week.
