HARRISBURG — Big nights from the senior duo of Johnathan Brown and Jeremiah Jones helped the Du Quoin Indians improve to 2-0 on the young season with a 41-0 win at Harrisburg.
Brown ran for three touchdowns and threw for two more, both to Jones, who also added a rushing touchdown for the Indians, who have outscored their opponents 89-18 this season.
Du Quoin led 21-0 after one quarter and extended that lead to 35-0 by halftime. Brown and Jones connected for a 70-yd touchdown to trigger the running clock.
