The Blue Ribbon Basketball Yearbook released their picks for the Missouri Valley Conference’s preseason favorites and all-conference picks on Tuesday.
The Illinois State Redbirds are the favorites coming in to the season according to Blue Ribbon Basketball Yearbook. SIU comes in at #6 in the 11-team league.
The Salukis do have a member on the publication’s preseason All-Conference team. Former Valpo and John A. Logan College standout Isaiah Stafford is expected to earn All-Conference honors.
