Sam Adkins, Marion: The senior caught 7 passes for 133 yards and 3 TDs to go with a 2pt conversion and 5 extra points in the Wildcats’ 62-13 win over Granite City.
Michael Barner, Fairfield: The junior rushed for 181 yards, scored 2 TDs and added 2 2-pt conversions in the Mules’ 36-28 win over Red Hill.
Kenny Bratton, Centralia: The sophomore caught 6 passes for 136 yards and 2 TDs in the Orphans 29-8 win over Collinsville.
Johnathan Brown, Du Quoin: The senior threw for 142 yards and 2 TDs and rushed for 117 yards and 3 TDs in the Indians’ 41-0 win over Harrisburg.
Dee Caruthers, Massac Co.: The junior rushed for 212 yards and scored 4 TDs in the Patriots’ 42-0 win over Ballard Memorial.
Jadyn Gerardi, Anna-Jonesboro: The junior won medalist honors at the Carbondale Invitational with a time of 18:44.00.
Kaiden Henson, Eldorado: The senior rushed for 201 yards and scored 2 TDs in the Eagles’ 24-14 win over Edwards County.
Whitney Lovel, Trico: On the course, the junior earned medalist honors at a match with Vienna as well as the A-J Invitational where she shot a 35. On the court, Lovel had 3 kills, an ace, and 17 digs in the Pioneers’ win over Du Quoin.
Trace Payne, Sesser-Valier/Waltonville: The senior threw for 165 yards and 3 TDs in the Red Devils’ 34-14 win over Hamilton Co.
Trayton Peters, Chester: The senior was 13-14 for 182 yards and 5 TDs in the Yellow Jackets’ 53-7 win over Pinckneyville.
Ethan Plott, Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden: The senior scored 7 goals to help the Wildcats go 2-1 for the week. Plott scored 4 goals in a win over Harrisburg.
Drake Porter, Benton: The sophomore was 9-11 passing for 176 yards and 4 TDs and rushed for 57 yards another TD in the Rangers’ 63-0 win over Robinson.
Mya Russell, Salem: The junior earned medalist honors at 3 matches, carding a 35, a 36, and a 37 in the wins.
JaShawn Staples, Mt. Vernon: The junior rushed for 208 yards and scored 5 TDs (3 rushing, 1 receiving, 1 kickoff return) in the Rams’ 52-51 over Carbondale.
