John A. Logan College Little Egypt Football Week 6 Poll: Key games creates movement in the Top 10

Headed in to Week 6 of the High School Football season, the John A. Logan College Little Egypt Football Poll remains largely unchanged.

The Benton Rangers remain at #1 following a dominant 56-7 win at Anna-Jonesboro.

Carterville took care of business against Hopkinsville, KY 35-15 to keep their spot at #2.

The Du Quoin Indians bounced back with a 46-27 win against Pinckneyville, surviving a bumpy start that saw the Panthers primed for an upset before Du Quoin righted the ship.  The Indians keep their #3 spot.

The Johnston City Indians move back up to #4 following a 38-20 win at Flora in a game many believe could have been for the Black Diamond Conference crown.

Marion Wildcats slide to #5 following a 28-22 loss to Cahokia, dropping to 3-2 and 1-1 in the South Seven.

The Nashville Hornets went to West Frankfort and handed the Redbirds their first loss of the season, 41-6.  Nashville remains at #6 while West Frankfort drops to #9.

The Centralia Orphans took care of business at Carbondale in a 35-23 victory.  The Orphans remain #7.

The Chester Yellow Jackets impressed with a 42-20 win over Wesclin.

The Mt. Vernon Rams re-enter the Top 10 following a tight 29-28 win over Belleville Althoff.
