WEST FRANKFORT — The Benton Rangers improved to 7-0 with their seventh straight win over West Frankfort in the Cross County Rivalry, beating the Redbirds 39-0.
The Rangers led 12-0 at the half and 18-0 after three quarters before blowing it open in the fourth quarter.
Drake Porter and Riley Spencer each scored a pair of rushing touchdowns, with Porter connecting with Kobi Cali for a TD pass. Nolan Schaefer returned an interception for the Rangers’ other score.
