Congratulations to the Mt. Carmel Lady Aces girls golf team, our Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performers for October 6-11.
The Lady Aces won their fifth straight state championship with a score of 624, which was 25 strokes better than second place Quincy Notre Dame. Seniors Zeme Moore and Miley Kennard medaled, tying for third individually.
The Lady Aces seniors finished their careers unbeaten with four state championships.
