The John A. Logan College Baseball and Softball First Pitch Dinner was a huge success with the inaugural event happening earlier this year. Year 2 is looking to be just as big of a hit.
Tuesday, it was announced that Crab Orchard alum, former Johnston City softball coach, and current Texas Tech softball coach Gerry Glasco will be a featured special guest speaker at the First Pitch Dinner in January.
Glasco helped to lead the Texas Tech Red Raiders to the Women’s College World Series and played to a decisive Game 3 before suffering a 10-4 loss to finish in second place.
The First Pitch Dinner is on January 10, 2026. Tickets go on sale November 10.
