Payton Allen, West Frankfort: The junior completed 13-17 passing for 207 yards and threw 2 touchdowns in the Redbirds’ 61-22 win over Pinckneyville.
Dee Carruthers, Massac Co.: The senior piled up 240 yards offense and scored 2 touchdowns in the Patriots’ 42-28 loss to Saxony Lutheran. Carruthers had a 129 yards rushing and 111 yards receiving.
Hadley Douglass, NCOE: The freshman won the Greater Egyptian Conference Meet with a time of 19:31.
Nicholas Garcia, Carrier Mills/Stonefort: The sophomore won the Greater Egyptian Conference Meet with a time of 18:20.
Jadyn Gerardi, Anna-Jonesboro: The junior won the SIRR Mississippi Conference Meet with a time of 18:58.3.
Archie Goewey, Centralia: The sophomore threw for 248 yards and 5 touchdowns in the Orphans’ 48-44 win over Mt. Vernon.
Gabriel Greer, Marion: The junior won the South Seven Conference Meet with a time of 15:41.31.
Orion Hoak, Vienna/Goreville: The senior scored 4 goals and added 2 assists in the Eagles’ 10-0 regional quarterfinal win over Valmeyer.
Leah Jones/Elise Duke/Makenna Hackney, Flora: The seniors all won medalist honors at the Centralia 1A Girls Tennis Sectional. Jones won the singles title, while Duke and Hackney teamed to win the doubles title.
Mason King, Herrin: The senior won the SIRR Ohio Conference Meet with a time of 15:26.6
Kara Moore, Carterville: The junior won singles medalist honors at the Carbondale 1A Girls Tennis Sectional.
Reagan Moore/Anna-Marie Simonds, Carbondale: The junior and sophomore won doubles medalist honors at the Carbondale 1A Girls Tennis Sectional
Kara Odum, Marion: The senior won the South Seven Conference Meet with a time of 19:40.78
Liam Roberts, Eldorado: The junior won the Black Diamond Conference Meet with a time of 17:19
Laney Sambursky, Carterville: The sophomore won the SIRR Ohio Conference Meet with a time of 19:13.7.
Makyla Seibers, Carmi-White Co.: The senior won the Black Diamond Conference Meet with a time of 20:36.
JaShawn Staples, Mt. Vernon: The junior rushed for 242 yards and scored 3 touchdowns in the Rams’ 48-44 loss to Centralia.
Caroline Tepe, Okawville: The senior earned medalist honors at the Cahokia Conference Meet with a time of 19:25.65.
