CAMPBELL HILL — NCOE and Edwards County took care of business in Tuesday’s Trico 1A Volleyball Sectional semifinals.
The Fighting Cardinals dispatched Steeleville 25-14, 25-13 in the first semifinal, with Edwards County taking out the host Pioneers 29-27, 25-20 in the second.
NCOE (36-2) and Edwards County (34-4) will battle for the sectional title Thursday night at 6:00 with the winner headed to Monday’s Wayne City 1A Supersectional. These two teams met a few weeks ago with the Cardinals coming out on top 25-19, 25-19 on their win to win the Edwards County Tournament.
