MARION — The Marion Wildcats improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 78-57 win over Freeburg in the final game of the Cuss Wilson Classic shootout.
Cam Curry led the way for the Wildcats, stuffing the stat sheet with 21 points, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Blake Blue added 20 points and five rebounds, with Makhi House following up his 30 point varsity debut Friday night with 17 more Saturday.
Marion will return to action with two more home games as the Cats will welcome Breese Mater Dei Friday night and Massac County Saturday night.
