MARION — The Marion Wildcats are off to a 3-0 start after holding off Breese Mater Dei 50-45 Friday night at Cuss Wilson Gymnasium.
Blake Blue led the Marion attack with 19 points on 8-9 shooting. Mahki House finished with 16, and Cam Curry added a double-double of 10 points and 13 rebounds.
Mater Dei’s Reagan Woomer led all scorers with 20 points.
It’s a quick turnaround for both teams. Marion will host Massac County Saturday night, while Mater Dei will welcome Pinckneyville.
