The Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats football team will be under new direction at the start of the 2026-27 season. The school announced Thursday morning they are looking to hire a new head football coach.
Whoever steps in for the Wildcats will be replacing Jamie Yates. Yates coached the Wildcats the past two seasons. He was 0-18 during his time as head coach.
The Wildcats have fallen on tough times. Their last winning season came in 2018 when they were 8-3.
