CARBONDALE, Ill. – Three student-athletes from the Southern Illinois University football team have earned All-American honors after the 2025 season.
Cornerback Jeremiah McClendon, quarterback DJ Williams, and kicker/punter Paul Geelen were all on multiple All-American teams, which includes FCS Football Central, Associated Press, and Stats Perform.
Both Williams and McClendon were named to the FCS Football Central All-American Third Team.
On the AP All-America teams, which were announced on Tuesday, SIU had three players represented. McClendon earned a spot on the second team, while Williams and Geelen were honorable mentions.
All three players also received recognition on the Stats Perform FCS All-America teams, which came out on Wednesday. McClendon was voted to the second team, and both Williams and Geelen were voted to the third team.
