Blake Blue, Marion: The junior scored 34 points and grabbed 17 rebounds helping the Wildcats go 2-0 for the week.
Jaxon Carney, Gallatin Co.: The junior scored 23 points in the Hawks’ win over Thompsonville.
Jake Easton, Fairfield: The senior scored 37 points helping the Mules to a 2-0 week. He scored 22 in the win over Flora.
Essence Haynes, Elverado/Z-R: The junior scored 87 points in the games for the Lady Falcons, including 34 points in a win over Joppa/Maple Grove.
Abby Jones, Vienna: The senior was named to the All-Tournament Team at the City of Metropolis Girls Tournament after helping the Lady Eagles go 2-1. Jones scored 24 in a win over Charleston (MO).
Rylee McElveen, Carbondale: The sophomore was named Tournament MVP after helping lead the Terriers to a 3-0 record and the championship of the City of Metropolis Girls Tournament. McElveen scored 16 in the championship clinching win over Massac County.
Rylan Reiss, Steeleville: The junior scored 31 points in the Lady Warriors’ win over New Athens, surpassing 1000 career points in the process.
Maddox Ritzel, Nashville: The senior scored 30 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help the Hornets beat Anna-Jonesboro, surpassing 1500 career points in the process.
Grayson Stafford, Harrisburg: The senior scored 25 points in the Bulldogs’ win over Cairo.
James Walker, Wayne City: The senior scored 35 points in the Indians’ win over Cisne.
Dalton Wheeler, Harrisburg: The junior took top individual honors and helped lead the Bulldogs to the team title at the Southern Illinois Team Challenge at Bel-Air Bowl in Belleville. Wheeler finished with 1542 pins to win 111.
Emma Young, Cobden/Shawnee: The senior scored 23 points in the Appleknockers’ win over Murphysboro.
