Carterville boys basketball coach Shane Hawkins collected his 150th win as Lions head coach on Saturday night.
The Lions defeated the Nashville Hornets 75-73; Maddox Gulley hit the game-winner with 3.4 seconds left in the game.
The victory improves the Lions to 8-1 on the season. They are the top seed in this year’s Eldorado Holiday Tournament.
Hawkins is 150-126 as Carterville coach. He is 347-235 in his career as a head coach.
