Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Prime Time Performer nominees

Voting is open and will run through midnight Sunday for our next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are your nominees:

Dave Barnes, Mt. Vernon: The junior was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Collinsville Holiday Classic after helping lead the Rams to a 3-1 record and 2nd place. 

Samantha and Summer Brinkmann, Nashville: The sisters were both named All-Tournament first team at the Mascoutah Invitational after helping lead the Hornettes to a 4-0 record and the championship.

Kendall Cleland, Pinckneyville: The junior was named MVP of the Christ Our Rock Winterfest Tournament after helping lead the Lady Panthers to a 4-0 record and the championship. 

Kyle Cooper, Woodlawn: The senior was named MVP of the Duster Thomas Hoops Classic at Pinckneyville after helping lead the Cardinals to a 4-0 record and the championship. 

Mabrey Foster, Fairfield: The senior was named MVP of the Merry Mule Christmas Tournament after helping lead the Lady Mules to a 4-0 record and the championship.

Caleb Gaddis, Dongola: The junior was named MVP of the Dongola Christmas Tournament after helping lead the Demons to a 2-1 record and 2nd place.

Zech Green, Goreville: The senior was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Sesser-Valier Holiday Tournament after helping lead the Blackcats to a 3-0 record and the championship. Green scored 27 in a win over Red Bed, had the game-winning bucket in the closing seconds against Du Quoin, and the game-tying 3 late against Waltonville.

Colton Hawkins, Carterville: The senior was named MVP of the Eldorado Holiday Tournament after helping lead the Lions to a 4-0 record and the championship.

Aleiya King, Du Quoin: The sophomore was named to the All-Tournament team at the Christ Our Rock Lutheran Winterfest Tournament after breaking the tournament’s scoring record with 77 points. 

Ty Laur, Pinckneyville: The senior was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Duster Thomas Hoops Classic in Pinckneyville after averaging 23.5 points and 7 rebounds in 4 games. Laur then scored 40 in a win at Waterloo Gibault. 

Nathaniel Marlow, Webber: The senior was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Conrad Allen Holiday Tournament after helping lead the Trojans to a 5-0 record and the championship. Marlow scored 33 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the championship game win over North Clay/Clay City.

Carleigh Midgett, Marion: The sophomore was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Coles County Holiday Tournament after helping lead the Lady Wildcats to a 3-1 record and 3rd place.

Madelyn Roundcount, Benton: The senior was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Benton Christmas Classic after helping lead the Rangerettes to a 3-1 record and 3rd place. 

Kyler White, Cobden: The junior was named MVP of the Appleknocker Holiday Tournament after helping lead the Appleknockers to a 3-0 record and the championship. White scored 22 in the championship game win over Cairo.
