
With the regular season’s end in sight, the John A. Logan College SI Basketball Poll has a pair of ties in the Top 10 this week.
The Woodlawn Cardinals and Goreville Blackcats are tied for 6th while the Sparta Bulldogs and Webber Trojans (new additions to the Top 10) are tied for 8th.
The Centralia Orphans regain their unanimous #1 status after a pair of weeks seeing a couple of first place votes go elsewhere.
The Nashville Hornets are just five points away from Centralia, knocking on the door for a potential upset if Centralia is unable to finish out the tightrope walk these final weeks.
A 73-40 loss at Nashville slid Benton down from #8 to #10. The Marion Wildcats slid out of the Top 10.
