Voting is open and will run through midnight Sunday for our next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are your nominees for February 9-14:

Kaleb Gore, Anna-Jonesboro: The junior scored 33 points in a loss to Du Quoin.

Jacee Mardirosian, Carterville: The junior went 3-0 with 2 falls and a major decision to win the 135 pound weight class at the North Mac Girls Wrestling Sectional.

Nathaniel Marlow, Webber: The senior scored 102 points in 3 games including 51 in a win over Edwards County to surpass 3000 career points. 

Iris Mount, Vienna: The senior scored 34 points in the Lady Eagles’ win over Johnston City to clinch a share of the Black Diamond West title. 

Alauni Muex, Marion: The senior went 3-0 with 2 falls and a decision (9-2) to win the 120 pound weight class at the North Mac Girls Wrestling Sectional. 

Sidnee Nelson, Herrin: The senior was the area’s top individual finisher at the O’Fallon Girls Bowling Sectional. Nelson finished 6th with 1219 pins to qualify for the state tournament. 

Paxton Pyatt, Murphysboro: The junior went 3-0 with a tech fall and 2 decisions to win the 120 pound weight class at the Vandalia Boys Wrestling Sectional. 

Julien Tanner, Murphysboro: The senior went 3-0 with a major decision and 2 decisions to win the 285 pound weight class at the Vandalia Boys Wrestling Sectional. 

Braxton Tittle, Benton: The junior went 3-0 with a fall, a tech fall and a decision to win the 106 pound weight class at the Vandalia Boys Wrestling Sectional.

Ryder Wettig, Trico: The junior scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in a win over Sesser-Valier.
