BLUFORD — Webber senior Nathaniel Marlow has steadily climbed the IHSA’s Boys All-Time Scoring List this season and now finds himself one rung from the top.
Marlow started the season with 2188 points, which was 95th on the list. With 39 points in the Trojans’ regional quarterfinal win over Christ Our Rock Lutheran Monday night, Marlow not only surpassed 1000 points for the season, but he also moved past Jamie Brandon and Andy Kaufmann into second on the all-time list with 3192 points.

Marlow is now 166 points behind the IHSA’s all-time leading boys scorer, Charlie ‘Chico’ Vaughn who scored 3358 points from 1954-58 for Tamms. Depending on the Trojans’ postseason run, Marlow could have as many as seven games remaining.
Next up for Webber is a Wednesday date with Midland Trail Conference foe Wayne City in the first semifinal at the Altamont Regional.
