Star guard Christian Gilliland from JUCO powerhouse Pearl River has announced his commitment to SIU men’s basketball.

Gilliland was an All-MACCC 1st team selection this past year averaging 23.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists as a freshman. He was all the conference’s Freshman of the Year.
Gilliland originally was committed to Siena before former head coach Gerry McNamara left for Syracuse.
