SIU men’s basketball received a commitment from NAIA Second-Team All-American Jaxson Fugate on Thursday.
Fugate transfers to SIU from Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
At Indiana Tech, the 6’6 wing averaged 20.7 points with a season-high of 40 in the 2025-26 season. Fugate shot 57.1 percent from the field in his sophomore season.
Fugate has two years of eligibility remaining.
