
CARBONDALE, Ill. – Southern Illinois Men’s Basketball has accepted an invitation to play in the 2026 Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands as part of its 2026-27 non-conference schedule. The Salukis will be making the program’s second visit to the tournament, and the first of the Scott Nagy era.
Southern will be one of eight teams to play in the tournament, which will be contested for the 27th time overall and will host its 26th men’s tournament.
The Salukis finished 1-2 in their November 2021 appearance, defeating Colorado 67-63 in to open play, and losing 66-64 to Creighton in the third-place game.
