Cy Craft, Du Quoin: The junior went 11-15 with a walk, 3 doubles a home run, 7 runs scored, and 6 RBIs helping the Indians go 4-0 for the week. Craft also picked up a complete game win on the mound, allowing 2 earned runs on 7 hits over 7 innings while striking out 10 in a win over West Frankfort.
Kansas Craig, Anna-Jonesboro: The senior was 9-19 with a walk, 4 doubles, 3 home runs, 9 runs scored and 6 RBIs helping the Lady Wildcats go 4-0 for the week. Craig was 3-5 with a double, 2 homers, drove in 5, and scored 3 times to reach 200 careers run in a win over Benton
Lucas Dunn, Nashville: The senior struck out 15 over 6 shutout innings allowing just 1 hit in a Hornets win over West Frankfort. Dunn surpassed 200 career strikeouts in the game.
Javan Garrett, NCOE: The senior was 6-12 with a walk, a double, 2 home runs, 7 runs scored, 5 RBIs, and 5 stolen bases to help the Fighting Cardinals go 3-0 for the week. Garrett was 2-5 with 2 homers, 3 RBIs, and 4 runs scored in a win over Crab Orchard.
Braxton Householder, Galatia/Thompsonville: The sophomore was 5-10 with a walk, 2 home runs, 3 runs scored, and 6 RBIs to help the Bearcats go 3-0 for the week. Householder picked up the win on the mound, allowing 3 earned runs in 6.2 innings, while hitting 2 homers and driving in 5 against Gallatin County.
Samaia Jones, Massac Co.: The freshman was 7-14 with 2 walks, 2 home runs, 4 runs scored, and 4 RBIs in 5 games. Jones was 3-3 with a walk and a home run, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored in a win over Benton.
Landyn Mitchell, Christ Our Rock Lutheran: The senior won the 110 hurdles, long jump and triple jump at both the Foxes Invitational and the Carlyle Invitational. Mitchell also finished 2nd in the high jump at Carlyle.
Adri Ortega, Crab Orchard: The sophomore threw a no-hitter striking out 19 in a win over Hardin County.
Arianna Smith, Murphysboro: The senior was 2-1 in the circle allowing 4 earned runs in 21 innings pitched while striking out 10. At the plate, Smith was 6-17 with 2 doubles, a home run and 9 RBIs. Smith allowed 1 run in a complete game while going 3-4 with a double, homer, and 4 RBIs in a win over Herrin.
Harley Summers, Herrin: The senior was 5-16 with a walk, a double, 2 home runs, 5 runs scored, and 12 RBIs in 4 games. Summers drove in 6 in a win over West Frankfort.
Macyn Taylor, Marion: The freshman scored 9 goals to help the Wildcats go 2-0 for the week. Taylor scored 5 against Centralia and 4 more against Carbondale. She also hit a home run of the Wildcats softball team in a win over Mascoutah.
Danicah Tobin, Mt. Vernon: The senior was 2-0 in the circle allowing no earned runs on 4 hits over 14 innings while striking out 21. At the plate, Tobin was 8-15 with a triple, 4 runs scored, and 4 RBIs to help the Lady Rmas go 4-0 for the week. Tobin struck out 15 and went 1-3 with a triple and a run scored in a win over Crab Orchard.
