Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Prime Time Performer nominees

Voting is open and will run through midnight Sunday for our next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for October 20-25:

Elliott Acree, Mt. Carmel: The senior rushed for 216 yards with 3 touchdowns in the Aces’ 42-15 win over Lawrenceville. 

Michael Barner, Fairfield:  The junior rushed for 200 yards and scored 3 touchdowns in the Mules’ 44-25 win over Hamilton County. 

Trey Clark, Salem: The junior rushed for 269 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Wildcats’ 32-23 win over Charleston.

Hannah Edwards, Massac Co.: The senior was named to the All-Tournament Team after helping the Lady Patriots go 4-0 and win the Fairfield Invitational. For the week, Edwards recorded 125 assists, 20 digs, and 7 kills helping the Lady Patriots go 6-0.

Edgar Garcia, Murphysboro: The junior won medalist honors at the Murphysboro 1A Cross Country Regional with a time of 15:29.2. 

Jadyn Gerardi, Anna-Jonesboro: The junior won medalist honors at the Murphysboro 1A Cross Country Regional with a time of 17:59.2

Gabriel Greer, Marion: The junior won medalist honors at the Carterville 2A Cross Country Regional with a time 14:33.55.

Kaiden Henson, Eldorado: The senior rushed for 205 yards with 5 touchdowns and also caught a 65-yard touchdown in the Eagles’ 42-30 win over Carmi-White County.

Cooper Hill, Carmi-White Co.:  The sophomore rushed for a 198 yards and scored 2 touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 42-30 loss to Eldorado. 

Dariontez Monroe, Sparta:  The junior threw for 377 yards and 5 touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 66-41 loss at West Frankfort.  

Kara Odum, Marion: The senior won medalist honors at the Carterville 2A Cross Country Regional with a time of 18:18.74.

Lucas Parker, West Frankfort: The junior threw for 192 yards with 3 touchdowns and rushed for 101 yards with 3 more touchdowns in the Redbirds’ 66-41 win over Sparta.

Callahan Roper, Marion:  The senior threw for 435 yards and 6 touchdowns in the Wildcats’ 49-21 win over Mattoon. 

Caroline Tepe, Okawville: The senior won medalist honors at the Chester 1A Cross Country Regional with a time of 18:58.16.

Davin Wooley, Carbondale: The junior threw for 371 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Terriers’ 47-28 loss to Mascoutah.
