MURPHYSBORO — The Murphysboro Red Devils kept their shot at a share of the SIRR Ohio boys basketball championship alive with a 58-34 win over Harrisburg.
Cash Brooks led the Red Devils with 19 points, with Kemmeon Hale adding 16.
The Red Devils improve to 18-9 (5-2). They will host Chester Saturday before traveling to conference-leading Carterville to close out the regular season next Friday night. A Murphysboro win over the Lions would mean a share of the Ohio title.
The Bulldogs fall to 5-20 (0-7). Harrisburg will host Carbondale Tuesday and Herrin Thursday to close out the regular season.
